I just purchased the Tasco Super Sniper - a completely great mil-dot reticle tactical scope. Not wanting to get it scratched up - I purchased the Scope Guard to protect it while stalking elk in the thick timber of southern Colorado. I found that I worried alot less about setting the gun down, and the scope guard was easy to cut-to-fit the large turrets of the SuperSniper. It pulls off easily, and after 4 days in the wild (And one beautiful huge healthy cow elk in the freezer!) the scope still looks like new.
