Like the original reviewer stated, the only drawback I came up with is there is no hole/slot for the sling swivel stud. I will recommend this however as all it took to "adjust" the stock guard to the sling swivel stud was a sharp knife and a cigarette lighter. I will be purchasing 2 more here in the future for my other rifles. They hold ammo securely and do not lose their shape or elasticity. rnrnMy wife and I used the cheaper nylon buttstock cartridge holders on safari in Africa and they barely made it through a 9-day hunt without falling apart. I purchased a Beartooth stockguard and it has held up well for a full season of hunting.rnrnThe stockguard could be improved by adding more loops and by adding a hole for the sling swivel stud. If these improvements are made, I will purchase them.
